The group promoting the interests of a stalwart of All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdulaziz Abubakar, has expressed support for the governorship candidate of the party in the 2023 Governorship election in Adamawa State, Senator Aishatu Ahmed Binani.
AbdulAziz Abubakar was at the vanguard of his group Saturday when crowds of other party supporters rallied round the streets to welcome Binani back to Yola after the Appeal Court judgement of Thursday, November 24.
He accompanied Binani and arrived Yola International Airport Saturday to join other well wishers in celebrating the victory at the court of appeal.
AbdulAziz Abubakar who is the Dan Galadima Daware District was joined by his group as well as other youth and women groups of the party who joined other supporters of Senator Binani/Ganama to visit APC Secretariat and later stormed major streets of Jimeta and Yola to rally support for the party’s candidate.
The supporters matched and sang solidarity and victory songs to register their support for the party and candidature of Senator Binani.
According to the youths, the solidarity rally was part of efforts to re-energise, reinforce and reawaken the consciousness in the youths, particularly loyalists of the party as general elections approach.
AbdulAziz who commended the youths for their courage, said the appeal court judgement on the APC governorship primary is a victory for all the people of the state.
He expressed gratitude to loyalists of the party, most importantly the youths and women for their continued support and urged them to remain resolute.
The Dan Galadima Daware said Binani has provided various people-oriented projects for the progress of central zone and he is confident that this will be replicated if she becomes Governor.
